Elizabeth Toledo's work demonstrates the cultural influences of her life. Her upbringing in the Arizona / Sonora desert, with its rich landscapes, array of strong colors, passionate monsoons, powerful arroyos and comforting heat, have been her inspiration to create with the ardor displayed.
